I assume you are talking about Clevedon Pier Shaun. If so, then the answer is, you dont have to be a member. You can get a day ticket to fish...think its around a fiver to fish one rod. This can only be done during Pier trading hours. Think they open at ten at this time of year. If you want to fish outside trading hours, then the answer is to join the club. Our new membership year is just starting. Either pick up a form from the Pier, or download one of Clevedon Pier SAC website www.cpsac.co.uk

Any tips on catching sole in the bristol channel at either severn beach ,aust or cleevedon areas would be much appreciated

Good point Michael. Dont know where you fish, but t he Federation clubs cover an area from from North Devon, up the channel and down the other side to Tenby, so somebody must have some spots they dont mind sharing with us. The site has been running a while now and constructive ideas are needed, Angie will always does her best to put anything on here, just needs anglers to get involved. Hope your point raises a few replies
